Nope, its not just you. According to http://www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com and http://downrightnow.com/, the social media giant Facebook is indeed suffering an outage that no one has seen in a long time. At this time there is no answer to why the outage happens or when it will be back online but users are taking their anger out on Twitter with the Hashtag of #Facebook and #Outage.While we don’t know what the cause of the outage is, Facebook did let us know that They are investigating the cause of have and hope to have the whole social site back online. According to the two reporting agencies, there have been reports for at least 3 hours as the outage was rolling out.

Although there are other alternatives to Facebook such as Twitter, G+, and some users are even finding themselves opening up their old MySpace accounts to communicate with friends and to keep everyone up to date.  Some posts on twitters are also suggesting that everyone tries something different, while others are asking “When will #Facebook return back online.” Until either Facebook comes back online, or they inform us what happened and when It will be back online, we will keep you guys updated on the status.

01/24/13 09:05 PM Update 1: Facebook reports that their sites are currently unavailable to some US, Canada, and Europe Residence as they try to fix the downed servers that serves those locations. Their estimated time that the server went down was 5:35 PM Monday. So far no information as to when their servers will come back online. We will just have to sit and wait.

01/24/13 09:10 PM Update 2: Reports says that Facebook went down at 8:00 PM EST/ 4PM PST. Also some users are claiming that they can’t access facebook on Chrome but they are still able to access it vie IE or a mobile app. Does Facebook work on a different web browser or device for you? Well, It has been a long, hot, and dry summer. Camps are winding down, people are taking their last minute vacation spots, and I just got back to my daily routines after working at a camp all summer long. I am pleased to let you guys know that I will be making videos and blog posts again. As you know. I make my own words when it comes to bringing the news to you instead of using other peoples words. This year I will be working on moving my desk around in different areas and trying out new layouts.

For those of you wandering, “When are you going to change that desk of yours? It looks old, warn out, and unorganized.” Well… I have chosen that this year will be the year. I have plans to visit a local staples, office depot, and Ikea to check out what kind of desk they offer this year. I was told that there is a very decent desk being sold at Ikea that offers all the storage space I need plus more. This is how I put it. If it fits then I take it. I will be measuring soon to make sure it fits. If it does you guys will have the opportunity to see it being built in action.

Wow. Its been a long time Since I’ve last posted here. I’ve been busy between working, going to School, and other projects. I didn’t forget about you guys though. Thats something I would never do. I’m just starting to get back into the blog business after all of that craziness and I’m working on fitting this around my still ever slightly busy schedule. First things first, this is my April’s update. For April fools day I got punk’d by popping balloons at work. They would not stop popping. We inflate new one and they would pop too. Guess the Spirit of Party City likes April first as well.

Now that we are back in order of business. Allow me to explain what I will be doing for the next 4 weeks. I will still be busy working and attending school but school is starting to wrap up and I should be getting more free time. During the off times I will be trying to fit in more blog posts, new, updates, and other stuff that I put online. I will also be looking for new want-to-be blogger that don’t want to pay to have a site but would like to start out in the world. This is great for you starters who can’t get into other blog sites. You will be given a subscriber status when you sign up and say you want to blog post by posting in the forums in Geekunity.

Next up for my update is about video blogs. I will be restarting Week In Review. Something that I haven’t actually done in a while. My goodness. its been what? Since February that I’ve last posted a video? I’m also hoping to be able to do so review videos, but that largely depends on if there are sponsors willing to let me have an item to review. News updates are in the near future and we hope to turn around this empty hollowed halls. We really hope that you guys enjoy all the upcoming videos. Also sponsorship’s and donations are greatly appreciated.

You all probably know by now that we have a minecraft server since March 6, 2012. Throughout last month a lot of you have noticed that the server went under numerous amount of down times and changes. I would like to greatly announce that the down times are now less of and issue. We also upgraded the server ram thus allowing up to add more user slots. We now allow up to 24 Users instead of 6. I don’t see us getting near 24 users that quickly. If we do that I will just add more ram to the server again and increase the user count. Also, please help us cover the cost of running this server by donating to us. Email Josh at josh@techgeeks-united.com. We will really appreciate it and your name would go on the wall of supporters. We are working on special levels for people who donates such at higher ranking names, sneak peek at blocked off areas that are under constructions, the ability to Fly, and the ability to use creative mode.

Oh before I forget. If you would like to be able to play on our minecraft server, just add mc.techgeeks-united.com to your list of minecraft servers. That way, if the IP address changes on the server for some odd reason, all we would have to do is change it in the link and you guys will have to do nothing. Well… If the server is down, then you would have to wait for it to come back online. That is all, nothing else to it.
